What if its true signs

You realize that loving someone means there is good and bad. Your relationship might be great for months or years, and then you hit a rough patch. But there is happiness , and that should be your aim. Maybe one of you dominated the relationship, throwing everything off kilter. But with this guy, you really get the sense of equality. You both work hard to make your relationship solid. You each give and take in a balanced way.

Would you think that a couple that shouts at one another and calls each other names…or one that sits down and gets to the root of the issue…would be the one to last longer? Another of the signs of true love is being willing to communicate rather than fight. You might be effing furious at some perceived offense, but rather than blowing up at him because what does that solve? This actually produces positive results. Ahh, one of my favorite things in the world is to make my girlfriend smile.

You can do that with small or big gestures: an unexpected kiss, a love note stuck in his lunch, or a six-pack of his favorite beer chilled in the fridge can be enough to make him feel warm fuzzies. Being in love puts you out of your comfort zone, but more often than not, you end up realizing you love something unexpected! Or maybe friends who knew you when you were married say you seem so much happier with this guy than you were for decades.

You have one perspective of your relationship, and your friends have another. Try to see yourself how they see you. We all have flaws, but love has this way of turning them into assets. If you find the fact that he sings terribly in the shower endearing, you, my dear, just might be in love! When you got divorced, you may have sworn up and down that you would never get married again or even live with a man.

But this guy has you thinking differently. Maybe you thought the chance to have kids was long gone, but now you yearn to have a Mini Him running around. When you love someone, you want to share news good and bad with them. You love spending time together, but you also have your monthly book club, happy hour with the girls, and your yoga time. You miss him, of course, but you feel better for having some You time.

When you first started dating, you liked being wined and dined, checking out the hot new restaurants in town. You have nothing to hide because he will accept every part of you. The question is…does he feel the same? Pay attention to how he acts around you: does he seem to feel the same, or does he push you away sometimes?

The important thing is that you now have identified your feelings as true love! Let the rest come in time. My true passion in life is transforming your love life by giving you specific tools and techniques that you can use to attract long lasting love.

After all, how can you expect them to contribute to your happiness if they're not happy themselves? It means your behaviors and feelings are typically focused on supporting, helping, and understanding the needs of another person, especially when that person seems to be suffering. Love is equal part action and feelings, so it might be helpful to spend less time wondering if you love someone and more time performing the acts of love. If they don't come naturally to you, that might be a sign in and of itself about how you really feel.

Gazing into your partner's eyes sounds like something straight out of a rom-com, but wanting to do it can be a sign that you're fixated on them and that you love the person. Just make sure you know the difference between love and lust , which might also present itself through preoccupation with looks.

This one may seem like a no-brainer, but it's worth noting because there's actual science to back it up. If you find the words "I love you" on the tip of your tongue, it probably means that those words and feelings are true. And while heteronormative culture will have you believe that women are more likely to say "I love you" first, research shows that men often beat them to the punch.

It's not uncommon to think about past relationships and lovers. In most cases, people view this as a sign that you're not over that important person you left behind. Though it sounds backward, being reminded of your previous relationships good or bad can boost emotional and social health and even contribute to greater satisfaction in your current relationship.

So if your ex occasionally pops up in your brain, or even if you find yourself comparing your ex to your new love interest, don't take this as a sign that you're with the wrong person. It could mean just the opposite. It's important to keep tabs on this, though. If these memories and comparisons are so pervasive that you can't fully be present in your current relationship, that may be a sign you're with the wrong person or that you haven't given yourself the proper time to really get over your breakup.

Just remember, falling in love feels different from being in love. Relationships are seasonal and cyclical. So if you find that your once-profound feelings of love start to wane a bit, that's not necessarily a sign that you no longer love the person. The act of falling in love , she says, "is a chemical high that isn't meant to last forever.

Many Christ-followers experience times when their faith wavers and the enemy whispers accusations that cause them to doubt if they are really saved. Just as a slow but steady drip can damage over time, repeated trials and temptations can cause cracks in our spiritual armor.

We stumble, as though the ground beneath us were crumbling, although it is our steps that are uncertain; the foundation of our faith is as sure as it ever was. The book of 1 John is a powerful antidote for doubting and wavering in our faith.

He makes it clear that his purpose in writing is that we know that we have eternal life. Doubt is a sickness that must be addressed; it will lay us low and keep us off the battlefield, right where the enemy would have us. To counteract doubt, here are seven clear indications of true salvation that should be evident in the life of a believer.

If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The unsaved man is not concerned about sin. He may have regret for his actions when the consequences are not to his liking, but he can easily set aside any lingering shame or guilt in the pursuit of his desires. He compares himself to others, always able to find someone more unworthy, so that he can feel better about himself.

In contrast, the person who has experienced salvation has an ever-heightened sense of his own sin. There is the initial, life-changing, moment-of-salvation recognition of our sinful condition before a holy God, in which we know that we are lost and condemned; this awareness results in a confession of sin.

Forgiveness is humbly sought, and repentance takes place; we turn away from our sin and turn to God. A true believer also exhibits a growing awareness of his sinful flesh, as God exposes our weaknesses, failures, desires, and old habits that are displeasing to Him.

The regenerated heart is continually humbled and contrite, hating all things sinful and desiring fellowship with God. Animals is a pretty common one. For instance, swans symbolizes true love. As licensed spiritual guide, Kristen Engelke, RScP , tells Bustle, "There are no such things as coincidences, so what most of us would categorize as such is always a sign.

For example, you may hear the same random love song play over and over again throughout the day from different places. You may be bombarded by stories of couples getting engaged or finding true love. If you ever thought, "Maybe the universe is trying to tell me something," Engelke says, you're probably right. It may not happen right away and some people have a hard time recognizing it all.

But the best part is that it could be a mutual feeling. It may take some time for them to make that same conclusion, but in time, they will. According to Rappaport, you may start realizing that your best friend is the one person you share your thoughts, feelings, and ideas with. In fact, being with them feels like home. If you have this type of relationship with your friend, Rappaport suggests looking out for that special warmth and twinkle in their eyes when they look at you.
