Now I am getting 50c at idle and over c at load and it is shutting off again. I called Zotac and sent them emails and they literally told me to take it back to newegg because they didn't believe it was the card. My case is a Raidmax Smilodon with 4 fans in it. I'm really dissapointed in Zotac's customer service, they didn't even want to help me. Also mysteriously I am unable to log into their website to do an rma at all. Their final response was: "You can return this to the place of purchase but this card normally runs hot.
I do not believe that if you get a new card your temps will go down. There is something set up in your case or cooling that is not cooling it down.
Overall Review: I have had an X Gto fireblade edition , an gt, and a radeon pro in this case and never had heating issues. This is not newegg's fault, but I just feel that if I am underclocking the card it shouldn't be running this hot and shutting off when I play games. I am not going to tell you not to buy from Zotac but just want people to be aware of their lack of customer support.
Pros: initially when i bought 2 of these i was expecting a step up from what i had before, but this absolutly destroys anything i play. Overall Review: really, ive been torture testing these as sli in a msi gf mobo with evrything else overclocked to the max and the cards just burn every game i have.
